Surfdogz – Wood – Four Board, Horizontal, Surfboard Storage Rack.
We have been building this board rack (our most popular) for over ten years. It is stronger than the ones that most surfboard shops sell, costs less, and is delivered FULLY ASSEMBLED, with all required mounting hardware (Hex head lag screws – not just wood screws).
The base is natural fir, nicely stained and FINISHED with gloss lacquer. The pegs are tubular STEEL, nineteen inches long, pressed into the base, spaced at eight inches on center, tilted up at ten degrees, and foam padded, with protective end caps. These racks will hold four long boards, no sweat.
Our price is still $65 a set, the same as ten years ago. Imitators of our racks come and go, but compare our features, quality and price, (including flat rate $5 shipping in the contiguous USA) and you will see why we sell hundreds of our racks year after year.

First, They are real surfboards with a softer surface, but not super soft, to make it user friendly but they look just like a fiberglass surfboard.
Most beginners and kids surfboards are very poorly shaped. This effects the way they perform in the surf, making them hard to turn. Surfing is ALL about maneuvering and turning on the waves. A poorly shaped surfboard can’t turn well.
Second, All original Liquid Shredders have full length solid Peruvian hard wood stringers for strength. Surfboards should be rigid and not flex too much. Many of the old technology “sponge” beginner surfboards and kids surfboards bend in the middle as the rider moves on them. This slows the surfboard and makes for an unstable platform for the rider to stand on.
NEVER buy a surf board without a wooden stringer system. Surfboards with weak stringers break easily, even in small surf.
